Transform Your Voice

A 3 week vocal bootcamp to go from singing ONLY in your car, to singing with confidence for your own pleasure.

Expand your range, find your power, lengthen your breath, and jumpstart your daily practice of singing.
Meet ānand, your guide
on this short adventure.

Are you ready to free your voice from the confines of your bathroom (and you only sing while the shower is running right?)? Are you looking for tips and tricks to improve your breath control, range and power? Would you benefit from having someone hold you accountable to meet your goals with singing?

During this training, we'll build your vocal technique from the ground up. I'll help you focus on what's happening physically so that you can relax your crazy brain! If you show up to the sessions and commit to practicing, you will feel a difference within the first week of this program.

The Origins of the Vocal Bootcamp

Sing. Every. Day.

A few years ago, my bandmate (and roommate) Jaron asked me to do a vocal bootcamp with him. I was stoked- after teaching voice for almost 10 years, I had dreamed of this moment! For two weeks, we got up at 7am for one hour of yoga and core engagement exercises followed by one hour of vocal exercises and singing.

By the end of just two weeks (about 20 hours of intensive vocal training), there was a BIG difference— but the real magic hadn’t even started. Over the next few weeks and months, he annoyed the heck out of all of the rest of us in the house by constantly practicing his vocal warmups.

The results were amazing! Slowly but surely: the runs became crisper; the pitch definition increased; his tone got smoother; his passaggio evened out; and his innate musicality started to shine through in his repertoire because he had better control of his instrument.

I hope that you are excited about the prospect of connecting to your voice and to your body with this little bootcamp I’ve put together. It’s a combination of my classical voice training, my experience as a pop vocalist, and epiphanies from breath work, yoga, and Pilates. We’ll schedule an initial private lesson with me to get on the same page and customize your program, then get into some productive small-group sessions. I’ll be holding you accountable via text in between sessions to make sure you practice! I’ll also ask folks to commit (just for 3 weeks!) to getting good sleep and reducing other stress factors. Whether you are a beginner looking to get a good foundation or you have experience and want to hone your skills, I think you’ll find what you’re looking for.
